I'm a Scottish-born, California-raised game maker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I create games that let the player escape their everyday, explore relationships with interesting characters, and practice kindness for themselves and others.

I'm a retail manager by day, but when the sun sets, I transform (✨sparkles and all✨) into a game dev with many hats (producer, writer, designer, playtest coordinator) who crafts engaging, fun narratives for players to get immersed in.

I was so fortunate to be invited by Ashley Phipps to co-lead IGDA's Optimizing Production for Remote Teams Roundtable this year. For this Roundtable, we are moderators for game devs of all skills levels to discuss best practices and strategies to make the most of remote production.

Submission to Rookies Competition

With some of the Distance Over Time Studio (DOTS) team, we patched up our blind-accessible spooky exploration game Guiding Light to submit to The Rookies competition. I was the only producer on the development on the patch and got the team to update the game to full features on time to submit.

Within this program, I was given the opportunity to network and connect with talented game developers, grow my knowledge through guest speaker lectures, and be mentored by a game developer in the industry!

Code Coven's Introduction to Game Making With Unity

Beginning in late August, Code Coven's Introduction to Game Making with Unity bootcamp gave me the opportunity to take my first big steps in game making by teaching me how to code (C#), how to use Unity, and how to navigate the video game industry.
